Religion Surf Co. is a small surf shop located on the south shore of central Long Island, NY. Started in august of 1998 by Ed, the spirit of Religion remains alive with new owners Leeann and Bob. Why the name religion? because surfing is much more than just a sport. The shop is packed with great stuff. We have lots of different items for all you beachgoers and extreme sports enthusiasts. Plenty of surfboard variety - a surfer of any skill level can find his/her perfect match! Don't like standing up? We have bodyboards too... and if you don't like the water alltogether, we have a bunch of skateboards along with a selection of trucks, wheels, and bearings. Here in NY you will need a wetsuit most of the time, we got you covered there with everything from rashguards to full winter suits, boots and gloves. What does Religion Surf Co. sell?

All shapes and sizes of surfboards, bodyboards, skimboards, wetsuits, skateboards (..and wheels, bearings, trucks) shoes, clothing, watches, sunglasses... many other beach items, and snow gear in the winter!

Does the shop carry used surfboards?

Not always, but we sometimes have used boards for sale. We also do buy-backs and trade-ins. Check in every once in a while for availability.

Does Religion do board repairs?

Yes, we can arrange for a shaper to professionally repair a damaged board. We also carry surfboard and bodyboard repair supplies if you would like to fix the board yourself.

Can I purchase a gift certificate?

Yes! Gift certificates are available.

Can I rent a board?

Yes, we have a fleet of softtop surfboards that we rent out daily. Check out the Services section for more information.

Can I special order something I don't see in the shop?

Yes you can. We can usually fulfill all special order requests in skateboarding gear and wetuits. If you don't see something you want just ask!

Can I take a surfing lesson?
